• Push the bricks tightly together when paving the edging borders to reduce the space taken around the lawn. This will allow the turfs to spread easily.
• Lay the bricks in a bed of sand to prevent the edging from heaving and unevenness.
• You can use mismatched bricks and place them diagonally to produce 19th century domino effect in your garden edging.
• Make sure to dig a trench and several inches of sand for smooth drainage and to avoid brick heaving.
